ARGB Header not working with Asus Aura

So I have an H500M case and the 2 pre-installed 200mm fans use a 3 pin connector for the motherboard (maximus x formula). I have all my other RGB components synced up but these 2 fans just stay red. This 3 pin connector is unable to go into my free 4 pin rgb connector and I have tried both ARGB connections. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

ARGB (addressable RGB) is for addressable RGB light strips.

the case comes with regular RGB fans (non-addressable). so you'd use the standard 4-pin RGB mobo connection:

According to Cooler Master's website they are addressable fans and they have the 3 pin connection. Since one of the pins are missing they won't fit into a 4 pin connection either.
