How do I tell if my cpu is Raven Ridge, Pinnacle Ridge, Bristol Ridge or Summit Ridge

Go to solution Solved by Rainbow Dash,

You are using the Ryzen 3 1200 which is Summit Ridge. You can also just check this site out under the "Core Name" would be the cpu family it is under: https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/ryzen_3/1200

Hi, I am building a PC and I have come across the issue of getting compatible memory for my system.

I have gone onto my motherboard's website and it has asked me whether my CPU (a Ryzen 3 1200) is Raven Ridge, Pinnacle Ridge, Bristol Ridge or Summit Ridge (all links and info below). I have searched for a while now on the AMD website but I can't find any information.

I will be grateful for any help.

  • 5 years later...

There are Ryzen 3 1200 Pinnacle ridge as well. See https://www.tomshardware.com/news/amd-ryzen-3-1200-af-12nm-zen

According to ASRock B450M Pro4-F CPU list:
(YD1200BBM4KAF) (aka AF) - Pinnacle Ridge

(YD1200BBM4KAE) - Summit Ridge

Op's CPU model name though appears to be AE.

Thought it would be useful to post, because I was also wondering which one is mine and this threads comes at the top of search. So might be useful to others.
