Posted July 8, 2018 I am considering buying a laptop with a 144hz screen and I am wondering if lowering the refresh rate of the screen would help me save some battery while I'm not gaming. Posted July 8, 2018 I never understood why it would be unplugged for more then an hour or so if its a gaming laptop, the battery will not last that long Short answer yes it will do a small bit, the largest influencer is Brightness.
