  • What operating system are you using?
  • What hardware do you have? CPU/GPU mainly.

I might just be back after the last few years because Spez is an idiot and I'm making a point to start staying away from Reddit.

Google-Fu revealed the following answers:

 

  • Dues Ex GOTY has a good chance of working if you use the custom launcher available here.
  • Just Cause may work is you copy your "Steam.dll" file from
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam - to
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Just Cause
    • and enable XP compatibility mode on the exe

Which Tomb Raider are we speaking of? 1996 or 2013?

Although... re-reading your original post, that "can't find steam" error may mean that you just need to reinstall the steam client. lol
