Can't set RX480 Nitro Glow to actual white

Go to solution Solved by RollinLower,

probably because they are RGB leds, and not RGBW. so getting a true white off of them is gonna be pretty tricky

I've noticed I can't actually change the Sapphire logo to pure white, is this intended? Sapphire Trixx says #FFF 255,255,255 but the LEDs are like with a tint of blue in it..

the reduce the blue a little. Just like monitor calibration on some crappy TN models.

RGB LEDs naturally lack a bit of red when implemented poorly, which is about 99% of the time because they want to push maximum brightness...

Decrease blue and green a bit and it should be closer.

With what software? Sapphire TRIXX doesn't have color calibration options from what I can see.

I've never uses the software before. Can you set a custom colour? If so, try setting the green and blue to like 225 and red to 255

Sadly I can't set individual R/G/B, just a color wheel..

the best you can prolly do, is a hint of blue/purple. I've had the same issue before trying to match my build haha

That's kinda dumb... I'm not sure if any other software could touch it, considering how many different ways of controlling RGB leds there are...

whats odd is it displays all values on the side but can't click to change them, maybe I'm doing something wrong?

That's sad. Guess I'll poke around and see what I can do.
