raid Should I Use Hardware or Software Raid For My New Computer

I'm planning to do a new build sometime in the next month and I'm planning to use either raid 10, 5 or 6 with 2TB Seagate Barracuda drives. Should I use software raid or a hardware card, I don't know too much about raid so let me know any suggestions. Here's the build I'm planning to do, let me know of any suggestions of things I should change, some things such as the graphics cards and ram isn't specific and just depends of what I can find on sale at the time of building.  https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/hqjvjy

That Windows 10 Pro cost..ouch.

Just go with software. At least that reduces the number of failure points a bit.

Why do you want RAID?

Hardware RAID would be faster, but software RAID would be easier to set up. It all comes down to whether you want to have to deal with the problems that can arise from hardware RAID or not.

I'm not to sure, what raid card would  you recommend if I was to do hardware raid, the budget isn't too much of an issue just the reliability and speed

Both are pretty bad options.

You should stick to no raid, and use a drive for regular backups.

If you have a server that needs raid for some reason then buy a proper PCIe raid controller.

If you want reliability and speed, just get a good quality 5TB or 10TB Seagate drive. Those are reasonably fast. RAID is really way too much effort with far too little a payoff in any system that isn't a server.
