Mushy Shift Key

So, i bought the "Piranha K20 Keyboard" a cheap 30 euro Membrane keyboard, has a more mechanical feel imo than others so i got it.

I first noticed when i played PUBG that the shift key is really mushy and have to press down hard. My Solution Was to put a paper ball on the membrane pad so it would push down earlier, it helped, a bit but was a temporary only lasting a day or 2 before the paper started to ware.

What i'm asking is there any more permanent ways of fixing this, It can be really simple or creative i don't mind.

Remove the plastic key and add a drop of glue inside or some wax or something to make the key "bigger" ?
