Am i able to game off of ddr2

I just got this computer for free its a amd 3 core 3.2ghz with 4gbs of ram. I have a spare 1050ti and an ssd for it. Would it be able to run decently on most games with windows 10 or 7? Thinking of giving it to a friend or selling it if it works

I7 7700k, msi z270, 8gb 2133 ram, 1050ti sc, 120gb ssd, 1tb hdd, 2 500gb hdds, and a 4 port usb3 pci card.

It doesn't really matter based on ram, what cpu is it actually using?

Try using the PSU Tier List!

yes but the CPUs that are using DDR2  aren't exactly powerful so not well, because of the CPU not because of the RAM

4GB of RAM is fine for most games, just don't expect to be playing AAA titles. I'd mostly be concerned about the AMD tri-core CPU there, that'll be your biggest bottleneck. With a 1050 Ti you should be able to run most games at 1080p60, provided you use minimum settings, because that CPU will struggle in any game made in the last 5 years.

The cpu will be the limiting factor in this scenario, not the ddr2 ram. In terms of ram, the amount be more important.

 

Without more ideas in terms or specifications of the cpu and gaming expectations, it’s hard to say how useful it will be. With the triple core CPU do not expect mainstream gaming from the last few/several years to work well.

Nah, you're restricted to older games and easy to run modern games like Cuphead or Bioshock Infinite. It's not directly the RAM's problem, but CPUs using this RAM type are old and slow by todays standards.

Should be fine for games around 2009~2013. 
I played Fallout 4 (2016) on a dualcore AMD with DDR2.
