Planning to get a used 1060 card, what do I do before actually buying it?

How do I test it to see if there are some issues? How do I know if it is a genuine card or something? Anything I need to do before buying it.

Best case scenario you go to their house and have them show you it working before buying it. If that's not possible just inspect the card physically (model number stickers, ports, cooler, etc)

 

You usually don't need to worry too much about used GPUs but try not to get one from a miner if you can.

Well if u r buying it online u r at huge risk it may not work be damages due to overclocking and heating if u r buying from a  friend or a known person u can us3 his system to experience the performance and if you find all games st high setting above 55fps including gpu intensive games like witcher 3 you should buy it.
