Which Pocket for Phone

Okay, so my dad and I were sitting in a store and I asked him which pocket his phone was in. He proceeds to say the left pocket and he has done so all his life. However all my life I have put mine in my right pocket. So who is correct left or right?

There isn't exactly a correct here, it's just what's comfortable for individual people. I put my phone in my right pocket.

What about shirt pocket or satchel or purse. 

 

I keep one in the front left and other ones in a backpack.

I write with my left hand, so I put my phone in my right-hand pocket.

I've always had my phone in my left pocket even though I'm right handed. But I usually have my secondary phone in my right pocket.

I always carried mine in the left pocket because car keys go in the right pocket...because the ignition is used with the right hand.

My right pockets have that extra tiny pocket I slip my aluminum flash drive into to keep it from getting damaged by keys, though it presents a hazard for the phone, so the phone goes into the left pocket. And the keys take up residence in the main pocket on the right side.

Right pocket because I’m right handed. Left pocket means weak left hand which means chance of dropping the thing.

 

either back pocket is a no no. Thief can easily pick pocket and if you forgot and sit down.... well, your body weight is going to  destroy it.

Use to be a left pocket only person until i lost my finger tips. I do mainly back pockets now unless I am sitting down then in between the legs or out.
