Samsung Releases FreeSync Firmware Update on four 2018

I always thought of 4K and 8K more for a large format displays or rather TVs.

Well with new firmware update gaming with Freesync arrives on Samsung TVs.

They mention following 2018 models that will receive firmware update:
Q6FN, Q7FN, Q8FN, Q9FN, NU8000

All models are 4K and four of them have Samsung's QLED*.

* QLED - Quantum Dots as Fast As Possible

With freesync widely implemented on TVs will make living room gaming more pleasant.

One step closer to proper gaming TV...?!?

Freesync is one of those things that will make large TVs much more versatile. Great to see it implemented.

Now if only AMD could have a GPU that wasnt inflated at the given pricepoint, that also was competetive at the higher levels of performance

Because AMD is responsible for the mining craze and could control retail prices right?

Im not blaming AMD here. It "have" in the sence that retail stores could sell them at those prices.

Its not like it is unknown AMD cards are popular for mining and they really cant control what they cost
