Game unable to draw graphics from device.

Well I'm out of ideas on this one. So recently this started happening. I'll be playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 and the game will randomly freeze for a few seconds (music still playing so I presume it's still running), then minimize and maximize itself (shows that Windows + G for game bar thing). It'll keep doing that until it ultimately crashes with this:

Tried updating the graphics driver since an update did come out, only for it to blue screen during the installation process. I have a GTX 550Ti so it should meet system requirements. Rest of the system specs are in the bio below. 

 

I'm at a total lost, this just seems absolutely weird. Any ideas?

It seems like the game crashed and the driver block ets2.exe from using gpu
