Refurbished monitor?

Hi guys! I saw this monitor and it’s 144hz 1080p just what i want. How much risk am i taking if i go with this monitor?

Hmm. Buying refurbished products is always a gamble. That cheap price and lack of reviews, combined with the company "Insignia" (which I have never heard of) would lead me to believe that this might not be a great idea.

It probably wouldn't be a terrible choice, but for $199 you can get a new 1080p 144Hz monitor anyways.

Also consider this MSI monitor. It has a VA panel, which means better viewing angles and colors than the TN panels in the Insignia and Acer models. I have this monitor and it is fantastic.

Insignia is an in-house brand for Best Buy. They're quite common for televisions, display cables, etc.

Yeah, it's a no since you can get new ones for the same price.
