How come the newest iPhones are slower than android?

wasab

Just take a look at this

Why are the recent iPhones doing so poorly compared to recent android devices in real life performance test? It wasn’t this way but starting with iPhone 7, iPhones just seem to having trouble keeping up.

is it the ram, the internal storage read/write speed, bad software or what? I know its processor is more than capable.

It's just the software. The hardware is mostly faster. Apple's A SOCs have been the top of the line in performance and efficiency since the A7 back in 2013. iOS is just a tad bloaty these days.

Some would argue that the iPhone hardware is comparable, or even superior to the CPU's Intel produces. I don' think hardware is the problem unless severe throttling were exhibited.

if apple sped up animations they'd be faster ahaa a iphone x 2 should have 8gb ram though..

But android loads web page so much quicker. No animation can make up for that.
