Upgrade Build questions

Ok first of all. I live in Alabama, USA and the budget I plan for it is around $2500. Less if at all possible.

The reason behind this build is simple I have a older system around 5 to 6 years old to be precise and I want to do some higher end gaming.

All but 2 of the case fans on my system are busted and don't run.

I have an intel core I5-3350p CPU with 3.1GHz

I also have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Ti Graphics Card

With 8 GB of ram.

I have a 1TB HHD.

Overall its still a decent PC it just doesn't have the power of some of the new hardware.

I want to run 2 monitors btw.

I know there are ways to skim down prices to make a really good gaming build that doesn't break the bank but I truely don't know what they are.

This was what I was looking at but I know some of you guys could point out better or just as good products I could get or even slight downgrades that would make the price drop by $500+ for the whole build.

Edit1: Updated parts list droping some stuff.

I can add on to this I don't mind it being a Prebuilt system from a reputable source if I can get one.

well you wont be needing 32 gb of ram for just video games so drop it to 16gb , save some money there.

you also don't have any components in the machine that need 1000w power supply so instantly save a bunch there and get a 5 or 600w one maybe.

you got a 400$ motherboard that im pretty sure you dont need . one half the price will do you just fine.

yeps lots to shave off here

Change to 16GB of ram and droped the Motherboard down and the Power supply to a 850w Again if you can point me toward prebuilt systems somewhere thats around what I want thats cheaper that would be nice to.

Included with 2x monitors + case.

There is no reason to buy a 6700k.

Thats nice actually. Bad thing is I don't trust myself enough to put together a $2000 machine and there isn't ANYONE near me that I trust either.

Also is there anything coming out in the next 2 or 3 months that might drop the price on some of the parts down? I say I have $2500 but thats gonna be a month or 2 of saving up before I can think of buying this.

3 months, maybe. Nvidia has a new generation of GPUs at some point this year. But it could be October or it could be August. We don't know yet.

Is Ibuypower a good site to order custom PCs from?

No personal experience, but they are a pretty big seller. So, there's at least someone to yell at.

I'd personally just upgrade every 3 years vs 6 years and get a mid range build each time.
