HP Pavilion Gaming laptop gets Coffee Lake

Gone will be the Pavilion Power line, making room for the newly announced Pavilion Gaming family. HP says the line, consisting of laptops and desktops, is for gamers who value both gaming and entertainment but don't need the top-tier specs and customization that come with the company's Omen devices.

That was from an article a month ago talking about this laptop and now it's finally available for order on HP's website. The Pavilion Gaming takes its design from their Omen series and comes with a much lower price tag. The specs that comes with this laptop is an Coffee Lake Core i5 quad core and up to Core 7 Hexa core with Hyperthread. up to 16GB DDR4 of non soldered ram. 15" display at 1920x1080 60Hz or optional at 144Hz, it even has a 4K at 60Hz, all display are IPS. Graphic card it comes with RX 560 2GB and all the way up to GTX 1060 3GB. For storage it's either a mechanical HDD with Intel Optane or mechanical HDD with NVMe SSD. For connectivity, it comes with gigabit lan, wifi+bt, usb type C and type C, HDMI, card reader, and mic/headphone combo jack. Keyboard and Logo comes in 3 color styles, acid green, ghost white, or ultra violet. Entry configuration starts out at $799
