Artic MX-4 Consistency

As per recommendation i am going to get some ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste and so i was wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of consistency it is. (thick or runny?)

It's very much on the runny end. If you want something thicker, there's MX-2.

MX-4 from other reviews is supposed to be the better, but in niche use cases it is more prone to pumping out. I do use MX-4 as standard between IHS and heatsink or waterblock, but wouldn't use it between IHS and die.
