ITX 8700k -Titan Pascal - And Hard Water cooling

Hey guys!

Made an account for other reasons but decided id put my multi purpose rig up for the fun of it.

Im an Engineering Student, Professional CAD modeller, and gamer. and only have one computer to accomplish these 3 demanding tasks.

thankful due to my new job working from home, i've been able to justify this absolute mini monster!

ive built a lot of computers for both professional and personal use. from tame to INSANE (let me know if you want to see the good ones :) ) and wanted something for myself.
so without further adjure i introduce my custom PC!

(It doesn't currently have a name but i was thinking something astrological like: Pulsar, Quasar, or Dark-star but they don't seem to fit)

Specs:

  • Lian Li PC-Q37
  • i7 8700k
  • Asus ROG z370i
  • 16gb x 2 T-force 3000mhz ram
  • Nvidia Titan X Pascal
  • Samsung 960 EVO 500gb
  • Hyper X Savage 2 x 240gb raid 0
  • WD black 2tb
  • Silverstone 700w SFXL 80+ platnium

Cooling

  • EK Monoblock
  • Titan copper and acetal block
  • Titan black backplate
  • PE 240mm radiator
  • SE 240mm radiator
  • EK DDC 3.2 PWM
  • Noctua NFF12 industrial 3000RPM
  • Noctua Redux R8
  • straight Nickel EK fittings for the front
  • black soft tube fittings for the rear

Desk Setup

  • Drevo Excalibur 75% keyboard blue switches (love it but too loud!)
  • Keycool 22 number pad (not working :( )
  • Logi Mx Master 2S
  • Acer 2k 27" IPS 60hz thing
  • LG 25" HD ultrawide
  • Vertical dual monitor stand
  • Philips SH something headphones
  • Audiotechnia USB mic
  • xbox one controller (casual games)
  • Cheap old edifier 2.1 system (looking for upgrade, Suggestions?)
  • Ikea desk, chair and rug
  • and toilet roll holder bent into headphone stand :P

Future upgrades / changes

  • the WD and savage drives i carried over from my last build and are about 4 years old. now with highly important large files that will be updated to a larger raid 1 or 5 array with backup soon.
  • Water and air temp sensors are going in soon, being ITX this thing can get super hot and want to be able to monitor it in case if the need arises.
  • Cable mod pro cables are on the way to pretty up and reduce rear chamber clutter ( due sensors and screens)
  • didnt have enough fittings leftover to install a drain valve so that will go in at the fluid change.
  • considering a new top monitor thats 165hz and maybe gsync. we will see what happens to prices when all these new 4k 144hz monitors come out.
  • there's one annoying pipe which isnt straight and has a small crease in it that bugs more than i though it would.... soon, it will be gone!

If you wanted a guide on how I got the glass to fit even though the graphics card with block is too wide let me know. it also increased airflow ;)

Note: also I bought a Titan because it was 3X better for the professional applications I use over the 1080ti so no hate please.
