What headset? What connectors?

If analog connectors, are you using two connectors or just one?

Also, is your computer set to use the mic on your headset?

Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, click 'Recording Devices', then make sure you have the right device set as the default device and that it is unmuted.

does the headset have an inline control, is the mic muted? alot of the possible answers do rely on knowing what make and model of headset you are using.

It's this headset?

With this one connector, you see on the left of the photo? DVI-D DL is this connector:

Typically used for (PC) monitors. Not anything with sound.

If it indeed is that headset listed above, it is connected with just one cable to your PC, correct?

If so, PC's use a connector for a headphone/speakers (typically green colored or has a picture of headphones next to it) and a connector for microphones (typically pink or with a microphone logo next to it) kinda like this:

Or at the back like this:

The connectors on the right

If this is the case, you will need a 4 pin 3.5mm splitter cable like this:

To split this one wire, into two so you can connect to your PC's microphone and headphone/speaker ports.

Its the headset above! Its connected with one cable, so its the right situation, i ordered the splitter cable! Hopefully it works!
