Is it ok to run both Premiere Pro and After Effects at the same time?

I've been working in both at the same time to save time, instead of just using one at a time. Is this gonna over stress my computer? I'm running 64gb RAM, Threadripper 1950X, and a Quadro P5000. Both my CPU and GPU are running at 60 degrees, and my GPU is running between 60-90% Thank you in advance.

I’ve done it quite a lot and my rig is way slower than yours.

It is pretty normal to be running after effects while premiere is open. Obviously you don't want to be rendering in one while working in the other, but neither program uses a ton of system resources while sitting idle in the background. The only potential concern is running into a RAM limitation, which I doubt you will with 64GB of ram.

Thank you for the reply, After Effects maxes out my RAM, but I suspect it can make do with less, it just wants to use as much as you feed it. I actually have been rendering in one and working in the other, I just didn't know any better, so thank you for that.
