Far Cry 5 annoying?

Just a quick one, anyone else find some annoying game play issues more than you would normally expect like pop/LOD or say sniper rifle range? Every time i play something bugs me and i a have not seen anyone mention it.

If I had to say I'm disappointed at a game it is FFXV... so much expectation... I watched the movie and the anime and loved the story... somehow at the game it looks like a cut down version super childish edition of that story... game's a pile of shit... only combat is decent but meh I rather go back playing The Witcher 3 all over again.

That game goes right over my head. tbh honest even TW3 misses me a bit and its a shame. If TW3 had an first person mode i would like it a lot more but with a few mods i have it looking and playing great. It definitely doesn't suffer from any annoyances like FC5. if you take away TW3's store writing and cut scenes how would you rate it?

to be honest gameplay wise far cry 5 is pretty much a reskin of far cry 4 imo. even far cry 3 to some extend. 

so imo not too bad, but i didn't have any problems with 3/4 either so i dunno

i didnt like 4. 5 is what 4 should have been.

Cyberpunk 77 game thing right? I would obviously have loved The Witcher 4 even if with new characters but same universe damn they did a worthy to play single player experience... I will still buy the 77 and see how it goes but I don't know... not that into futuristic settings.

It would still be very high in my book, I only like the first person perspective in first person shooters like Titanfall, Bioshock and such... hack n' slash type of games totally calls third person to me...

 

I also hate RPGs that extend the RPG side too much like Fallout and Skyrim... it gets boring to me... I do love many RPG aspects and freedom of exploration however without a solid story line and plot behind it even if it makes things a bit more linear I just can't get interested.

 

I still say it was a torture when my boyfriend forced me to play 2 hours of fallout new vegas to "give it a chance" the game was so slow paced I wanted to kill myself and I did genuinely tried.

Indeed, it's appearing at e3 and there's a playable demo according to sources in CD, been in the works for like, 10 years now.

i got right onto that before i got a PC. But even after moding it when i got a PC its hard to play it for very long.

I loved FC 3 and 4, 100% them both but 5 kinda annoyed me, i liked the story and it looked pretty but i just got sick of the constant combat, i cant seem to go 10 feet without running into some action.  I was hoping that once the story was complete things would settle down and i could fish etc in peace but nope

I like the constant contacts, makes it feel like you have entered at the final days of the cult with frantic last ditch attempts to hold on. The issue is all the contacts become the same affair. rinse and repeat the same combat scenario.

Usually games that have been in work forever end up as huge disappointments... see FFXV as I originally said... Diablo... and many other examples that I can't recall y the name right now....

Yeah they're ok initially but for a completionist who's running around after the story has been played out it really starts to get on your nerves.

I played far cry 3 (my first far cry game) found it fun but then it kind of peters off and got boring so I never finished it. Didn't feel like picking up the next few far cry games because they all seemed to play the same. Picked up far cry 5 because i wanted to play a shooter after all the rpgs I've been playing and surprise it's almost like playing far cry 3. It had some interesting moments but some issues:

1. At the start of the game you have a choice to cuff or not to cuff. Yet, in some later missions you aren't given any choice. (Why do I have to jump off a book?) Don't be so wishy washy with player choice. Either give it to us or don't.

2. Enemies are everywhere. Annoyingly so. Took out a bunch of trucks on the same road 15 seconds ago? HERE'S SOME MORE. You don't get a moment to just wander around and goof off until the whole region is liberated.

3. 3 categories of weapons are kind of worthless: Automatic Rifles, SMGs, and handguns(doesn't include shotgun and grenade launcher). Might as well just be peashooters.

4. Clearing 1 region is pretty much the game imo everything else is just more of the same with a bit of reskin, so it gets repetitive quick.

have you any other more mechanical issues with game play? i cant push a boat 2 feet from the water back into the water for example.

Lol same, you get it on land and its just stuck. If you have a companion fly, theres no option, as far as i could find, to tell them to get out.

I didn’t, i remember going around and getting pelts and such to add more weapon and inventory space, but after that i didn’t feel like there was much left in player progression and got bored.

have another go mate. Better guns become available and some other bits. Been a while but i think it gets better then again its been a while. Also you can mod it into a different beast. good fun.

Yeah i played it, the first game i got cracked but since then as before i just buy them. Anyway it was crap foe me. Only played it for a couple of hours but i think there will be something in it for you if you like the idea of the time period. Personally i give it a 5/10 as average. (angry joe rating style)

Not that I remember.

Well except for those enormous amount of enemys as you clear every of those Camps - makes NO Sense.

 

Sadly I have to admit that Far Cry 4 was better and made more sense...
