Old vs. New WD Black SATA 3

I need a new HDD for gaming storage and have decided to with a WD Black SATA III but I've found two versions:the old and the new model

So I'm wondering,what's the difference?

Both have the same stats so what does the new model hav over the old one?

I have the FZEX (the new model I think) and I believe the new one is very slightly quieter than the old one (FAEX). I also think the new one has a shaft in the middle to keep the platters more stable under load (2TB+ models). The WD Black, no matter which model you get, is quite loud compared to other drives. It isn’t unbearably loud but it definitely has a little “grind” to it when under load. It doesn’t make a whining or spinning noise however. (My new model at least)

I would just get the new one, I mean, why not? :)
