Is prebuilt worth it in 2018?

Hi guys! So yea i’m from Canada and i want to build my gaming pc. Comparing the prebuilt that i saw from amazon which only costs 959 CAD equiped with an i5 7400 and a rx 580 4gb to a system that i planned. Sure did make me wanna buy a prebuilt. Ram are expensive so as gpus atm. So are prebuilt worth it as of now?

Due to the prices of GPUs, some prebuilts can offer comparable cost. Really depends as some can have highly inflated costs.

If you look at the specs for what hardware is included in the prebuilt you can put all that information in to pcpartpicker.com to give you an idea of how much the machine would cost to build it yourself.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450
