In need of a GPU or CPU Upgrade?

Hello,

I am looking to increase my FPS, especially in simulation games such as BeamNG Drive, Brick Rigs which rely heavily on good hardware to spawn in lots of objects and items. For example in Brick Rigs, vehicles are made up of lots of separate brick objects which I assume require lots of computation power from the CPU for physics and a combination of GPU power for rendering and graphical workloads. But I noticed while monitoring my CPU and GPU when I spawned in lots of objects, the Frame Rate dropped to about 20fps while the CPU did not maintain 90-100% workload and the GPU only at about 30% workload. My VRAM and RAM has lots of memory to spare. I also noticed after I de-spawned all of the objects I previously spawned in, the workload of both CPU and GPU dropped to about 20% then WITHOUT SPAWNING MORE OBJECTS IN, the GPU went up to 100% workload while the CPU went up to 50% workload.

My PC specs:

i5 4690K clocked at 4.2ghz

Asus R9 Fury 4gb VRAM not oc

16GB RAM Corsair XMS3 DDR3 clocked at 1600mhz

NOTE- Both the CPU and GPU only reached about 60-65 Degrees MAX

I like to run the simulation games at high settings so I was wondering would it be necessary and if so, what hardware components would I have to upgrade in order to have a smooth fps and have room to spawn in lots of objects and items in simulation games such as Brick Rigs, BeamNG.

GPU usage probably goes up because the CPU bottleneck is removed and the frame rate increases.

There were firmware problems with this card originally.  Your tech is good so as long as your coolers are free of dust and there arn't any funny programs grabbing at the card Id say update the firmware and tweek a little so see if you can get the two to work together better.

I play both of these games with an older i5 and a 970 just fine...?

(btw brick rigs and BeamNG are probably the best games ever:P)
