can a 1060 handle 3440 by 1440p

I was looking to get a new monitor and I wanted to go to 1440p in stead of 1080p so can a 1060 handle most games at this resolution ? thanks for your help in advance.

60fps target? Low settings will be your best bet. Even at medium, expect frame rate dips to the 40s at times.

No. 60FPS possible only on 1080p (With Ultra settings)

Drop those settings a bit and you should have no trouble running most games. Make sure you get the 6GB version. Ultrawides are going to be very rough on this GPU. If I were you, I'd look into 2560x1080 panels.

With an rx 480 i could do games like gta 5 at very high 1440p, but it was long ago, i imagine that never games are more demanding, so expect 1440p medium 60fps.

Ok then the 1060 6GB version will do fine at 1440p high at 60fps in newer triple A, and in older titles like gta 5 expect very high at 60fps.
