My GPU has two white lines going down it and I was told I may aswell try the oven trick to see if it fixes it before I fling it out the window.

Is it safe to use my home oven to do this in? Or do you need a separate one?

you should use a separate oven for that stuff

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Use the card as a coaster for drinks.  Heck save it for when you have enough broken hardware to make something really creative like a table made of dead cards.  Heck you could sell it as dead and get some money back and it may not be much but money is money.

1 hour ago, RollTime said:

If something melts your oven is ruined. I would use another to be safe.

It'll be ruined anyway.

You can't use that oven for normal cooking again, so a scrapheap special is in order if you're trying this.

Try underclocking your memory first

That's an F in the profile pic
