Can I put a US Cellular nano sim into an unlocked phone?

I have a US Cellular prepaid plan on a nano sim card, if I just put this into any unlocked phone, would the plan still work?

As long as the unlocked phone is compatible with US Cellular and will hold a nano SIM card, it should.
