When are the next round of Gpus coming?

Richywilson

Hey, I'm looking to upgrade from a 1070 as it's not giving me the results I want on a modded skyrim, the 1080TI is quite pricey at the moment reaching 1500NZD. When is the next round of GPUs coming out that should drop it in price or be better than the TI?

2080, should launch at about June to July, though it wont be cheap because there are many people looking for upgrades. Even if mining doesnt bloom again, I'd say September is when prices should be more normal.

Thanks guys, I've added a mod that adds a lot more objects to the cities and yeah in high demand visibility spots, it's dropping down to 28-36 fps so yeah definitely needing the extra boost

Wouldn't that scenario have required them to launch/announce it at their own event last month?

Many articles mention a Q3 date. That would be this summer.

there are a tiny quantity of cards available right after the launch event, so it's possible for the launch even and new cards to be available right after the press event, i.e. in summer. Of course the price will be horrible, supply and demand game as usual.
