Have to RMA a RAM module cause its faulty. The question may be stupid but can the other module work without the first one as it's a 2x4Gb kit?

It will work. What a 2x4 kit means is that they just put 2 4gb modules in a box together. You could buy 1 4gb module the. The other, but normally it is cheaper to get the package

The other stick might work. But are you able to RMA just the one faulty stick, or do you need to mail back both sticks? I am not sure

99% chance it will , if you're super unlucky and get a whole other batch it may not work but that's like a super slim chance.

If the other moduel is not fualty, than yes. However, if you bought them togather, the manafacture `usally* wants the whole kit (if you bought it as a one pack (two piace), of course).

Not a stupid question at all, and yes it will but according to your motherboard, you may have to check to see what slot you can get the best reliability in though.
