Corsair RGB fans

Hey guys so I'm new the whole RGB craze and I want to get some Corsair HD120 RGB fans and I was wondering what I need to install them and the RGB to work and do crazy patterns and stuff, just the fans or do I need some controllers or anything, and also how to wire them up because they seem tricky, many thanks guys

Welcome to the Forums!

 

For the HD120 fans they come in kits with the RGB hub and manual controller but if you want for it to be capable of doing full customizable lighting patters you will require a software controller also. The two options are the lighting node pro or the commander pro unit which also has fan control built in.

Yes, it can do the same things and more.
