hey I just saw this mini PCI-E gpu dock for laptop on amazon. Here is the link  https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=gpu+dock&rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3Agpu+dock.You just have to connect a graphic card into this card.Give power to the card and dock using a Power supply and connect a mini PCI-E cable which comes with it to your laptop by opening your laptop and connecting it to the mini PCI-E slot if there is any extra slot or remove the wireless card and connect to it.The other side of the mini PCI-e cable is HDMI which connects to dock. Now install the graphics card drivers and modern games will work with your old laptop.Have anyone used this? Plz let me know how it is and plz make a review about this if you can ty.

if you want to add an external GPU to an older laptop, you can rip out the wifi card and plug in a PCIe mini to 16x slot adapter and just use that. im still boggled by how people think that egpu is so damn new when the adapters have been out for ages... does it work perfectly? no, but usiually it works as far as i am aware

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
