Looking for the cheapest acceptable PSU on Amazon

JoostinOnline

I'm replacing an OEM power supply in a computer to sell because it can't accommodate a GPU. I've got an Amazon gift card but practically no cash. I've always been a little overwhelmed by the number of brands, so I was hoping for some quick help.

It needs to be ATX, less than $50 (the cheaper the better), 400W+, and either have a 6 pin PCIe connector or two 4 Pin connectors. I'm okay with bare minimum quality. As long as it's probably not going to explode it's fine. I'm selling it and the case doesn't have a window, so bottom of the non-explosive barrel is fine.

That is far from acceptable. Pretty sure it's either tier 6 or 7 on the list lol.

Edit - Yep, tier 7.

Go for this, it's at the top of your budget, but definitely worth it.

https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Bronze-Certified-Modular-CP-9020101-NA/dp/B01B72VXE6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1522784523&sr=1-1&keywords=cx450

Out of stock.  Plus with tax it goes over $50.  I can tap into cash if necessary, but I'd rather not.

Your "definitely worth it" doesn't really fit what I'm asking for though.  I don't give a damn about the efficiency for example, or if it's modular.  If the cables aren't sleeved, that's fine too.  This is going into a crappy Dell unit, and it's not for me. Whoever buys it probably won't know anything about power supplies, and there isn't any window.  Even if it's refurbished that's okay. I just don't want something that is probably dangerous.

the "worth it" is more referring to the fact you'd be very lucky to find a psu of the same quality with the same warranty(5 years) for $50 or less.

But as you've now mentioned it's for a pc you're going to sell that doesnt really matter anyway(the warranty, quality still helps) lol.
