Every time I post here about getting a smaller case, I never really downsize much, so this time I swear I will. I'm considering the Cooler Master Elite 110 or 130 (prefer a Corsair Graphite 380T but it doesn't exist now ?) or another similarly sized case... Recommendations? Also thinking about the Haf XB Evo but it's a bit big probably... I have an ATX motherboard currently but I may do a second generation Ryzen build eventually and I want something small and powerful(ish) rather than a laptop (because that's just too convenient, and somehow that bothers me? I'm weird)

Those all seem like pretty big cases to me :P

I'm going to throw the Kimera Cerberus into the mix. Small, mATX, you can spec it with a handle. Win all around.

What's your reason for wanting a small case?

I want to DJ with a pc rather than a laptop, but my Thermaltake Core P3 is never leaving my desk (unless I sell it) and my Cooler Master Storm Trooper would be great if it wasn't 2 ft tall and 45 lbs. That's why the 380T would have been perfect for me. An itx or matx build seems like the best idea for me, but I don't know which size is better and Ryzen has very few performance level options for those sizes.

Also DAMN THE CEREBUS LOOKS PERFECT ? High quality but high price tho

I have the 380T, havent built in it yet but I will soon hopefully

They made a larger version for long GPU's, but at least the smaller version can still support up to 7.75"/193mm GPU's

Yea the lian li looks appealing, although the mid tower 300-something version would have been even better (it would fit in better and the rolling cart style of it is beautiful). But the tu-100 and 200 doesn't look the most appealing internally and I've read that the side panels aren't the best quality. I have an msi gtx 1080 gaming x at the moment, and an xfx RX 550 (small) so ideally the latter would be in this next build. Im not liking the $340 or so the Cerberus comes out to with options but aesthetics are by far the best for what I've looked at so far. Also the Cryorig Taku is interesting but that's also $300... Money buys quality but my pockets aren't very full at the moment

SAdly the TX systems tend to be significantly more expensive than ATX counterparts... You pay for small footprint I guess

Yea I know... Anyone got an opinion on the Caselabs Bullet BH2 / 4? Not exactly the smallest but optional handles and high quality, plus 240 mm radiator support if done correctly. (also gunmetal front and back with red sides would be absolutely beautiful). Would cost $230 all mods compared to the $350 or so for my ideal setup of the Cerberus. Again, size would not be as ideal, and neither would the amount of screws, but it's real American quality I'd be getting.

Also equally appealing are the Ncase M1 and Dancase A4 (Sorry if I have the exact names wrong)

These cases are very popular and positively praised. The Dan case is actually getting a revision soon to the C4, and there is also the Loque Ghost S1 that was on a kickstarter a while back and is about to go into production soon

Ghost looks great but all those cases of that form factor are approaching $300...
