Monitor Recommendation

Hi,

 

I'm new to the PC world and I am stuck on what monitor to get as whenever I think I choose one I always end up second guessing myself.

 

I have a 1070 Ti and a Ryzen 1600x and I'm looking for a monitor that I can game on and also can use applications like photoshop and adobe illustatator

 

I need it to be:

- Good for gaming and multitasking (split screen)

- Preferably a high refresh rate and IPS

- Anywhere between 27 inches to 34 inches

- Around 500 - 600 dollars

 

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Do you want 16:9 or 21:9?

Also preferably 21:9 but I know 144hz of those are pretty expensive.

If you want someone to know you've replied to them, you need to quote them. If I didn't still have the window open and had notifications turned on, I'd never have known

There ya go. That's about as good as it gets unless you want to increase your budget another $200, but you're only getting another 25hz.

The Asus PG278Q or the PG279Q are always good options and they come with G-sync as well (1440p, IPS, 144Hz) but they are quite expensive, usually $700+ due to the G-sync. If you can find them on sale I'd say go for it.
