Did I miss something? Were the 290s not released at a 399$ price point? Almost all of them on NE are currently sitting at GTX 780 non reference prices........

When the time comes for a new GPU, if they don't get their shit together, I'd rather get a higher tier Nvidia GPU and cudamine ffs.

Okay, I've tried to teach people correct forms of grammar on the internet before. Saying it's the correct way doesn't seem to be too effective, but tell em it shows they have swag/class/YOLO420 seems to be much more effective.

With the Aftermarket coolers coming in January I don't see why anyone would want a 290/290X right now. Wait people till the aftermarket coolers!

Which reminds me, A couple of AMD fanboys on this forum were pissy at the launch because Tiny Tom Logan stated the Aftermarket coolers weren't going to be available till January, they stated that he had no way of knowing that. well looks like he was right. So everyone that got indignant with me for bringing that up, you know who you are, can go fuck yourselves.

Well I've got this decently sized display now still running on my 7950, I was hellbent on getting a 780 but after seeing the 290 I sort of leaned their way a bit, I guess we'll see what happens after the non reference cards drop.
