Phone for gaming?

Guys i am thinking to get a phone for gaming better than Samsung J5 2017(the phone i am using now). My budged is 350€ max. Someone from Youtubes comment section to get a Samsung S5 Neo. The game play is Marvel Future Fight its a heavy game. Pls help me guys

Just a quick warning, while snapdragon 835 is good, avoid the snapdragon 820 at all costs. It was a failure on a massive scale, and you wont be doing any gaming on that,

Both its a chipset. (on 720p phones any Mali T800 series GPU will be fine)

It runs the Dolphin Emulator, I'm not sure anything else needs to be said.

You want Mali-T860MP2 for 720p that is a Mali 720MP2 at 1080p not a good pairing. O3O

Use Kimovil to search by Chipset for 720p Mediatek MT6750 or later is great but for flagship phones grab 835 or later. :3

If you do most of your gaming on your phone, you probably want the best CPU you can get for it, especially for any future use on it.

Just check reviews on the phone before you buy it of course, make sure it's not the worst build quality.

But all the 835s should perform pretty close to each other. You can search by processor/chipset here.

The GPU is pretty much identical to the Adreno 540 with reduced clocks. At peak speeds, the SD821(0) and the SD835 isn't all that far apart in gaming performance. Though, the 10nm process and the Cortex A73 design makes the 835 much cooler running.

 

In the summer however, my SD821 device actually performs worse in several games than my older SD800 device. These games start off at a fluid 60 fps, then drop right off a cliff not long after. Might try liquid metal at some point.

 

On a serious note, I might actually recommend an iPhone. Not only are they more than competent performers, there are actually games that push the GPU some. They're a bit of a rarity on Android, by comparison. Seriously, if you're not using emulation, an i-device cannot be beat for a gaming phone, at all.

If you are in the US and intend on getting a Xiomi phone, get one soon as the idiot Trump is about to impose tariffs on Xiaomi and other Asian companies, so they will end up costing a lot more soon, along with just about every other tech item you can think of.

I dont like iphone and they cost a lot... what do u think for Nokia 8 snapdragon 835 is it good for gaming

I'll be blunt. The library on iOS dominates the Play Store so thoroughly that I cannot recommend anything but an iPhone if gaming is the primary consideration. Good quality games most often go to iOS first, if it gets an Android port at all. (Case in point, Life is Strange). 

 

If you must though, just grab the cheapest thing with an SD835.
