DDNS services with own domain name free?

I'm looking for a ddns service that allows me to use my own domain without any charges. Does anyone know?

Cheers

Your best option is to redirect the DDNS service through your own domain. As a service provider will not "give" you a domain for free.

Yes, but the DDNS service provider will not allow you to use that on their service. So second option is to redirect the DDNS service to your domain.

This is done in two examples:

  1. Yourdomain.com ->Redirects to DDNSdomain.com
  2. DDNSdomain -> redirects to yourdomain.com

Which options you will have depends on the DDNS provider you choose.

Agreed, get a DynDNS account and create a CNAME record on your domain to point to that something.dyndns.com name.

Who is your registrar? Namecheap for example provides ddns for free. You could transfer your domain to them. Most free ddns options are going to want you to use their dns name in the URL.
