Any good full tower cases with good airflow or at least decent airflow and 5.25" bays? fans i will be using are the red LED corsair ML140 fans. Currently using the cooler master 912 so i want something that is kind of open or at least has good airflow, i was looking at the corsair 750d and so far that seems like the best option. And yes i still use DVDs/Blu ray discs to watch movies.

Edit: i do also have two hard drives as well, so that should be taken into consideration

That cooler master cosmos doesn't look like it has airflow really, the stryker seems good though

Apparently 5 total, but 4 of those would require replacing the 200mm fans, and it technically can fit a fourth 200mm if top 5.25 bay goes unused but won't plug into the built in controller since it is already maxed. I'd say adding two 120mm ML on bottom and replacing the rear with a 140mm ML would be nice

CPU: AMD Sempron 2400+ / MOBO: Abit NF7-S2G / GPU: WinFast A180BT 64MB / RAM: Mushkin DDR333 256MBx2 / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 120GB

i would be replacing the 200mm, i don't really like having sleeve bearing fans mounted horizontally, and i don't have 120mm fans aside from the  crappy AF series fans, and have used a 200mm fan before, the way they run doesn't really sound pleasing to my ears, always liked the higher RPM sounds which is why i would replace the fans in the first place

Good balance of airflow and noise. The better airflow cases mainly have a more open front by either mesh or actually open gaps, which make them a little louder, which is also dependent on fans used. If you don't mind the higher rpm noise (talking over 1k on 120/140 fans) you probably don't really need a more open front panel case unless you're planning on using a relatively power hungry GPU (the component most likely to benefit from it)

it isn't the louder noise it is the noise it produces, some fans may sound higher pitched and so forth

Exactly, I like the lower pitch noise so I have 200mm at around 4-500 and 120mm under 1k on a more open case than the pro 900. If you like the higher rpm/pitch noise but still don't want it too loud (a little muffled) a more closed off case is for you. Perfect example is get something more like the pro 900 than the meshify c

also seems to depend on the fan, the AF120s/140s seem to sound different from their ML counterparts, which is why i also like the smaller fans over the bigger ones, just sounds better to me, so the dark base 900 would be alright too then? at least airflow wise, i care more about the airflow of a case, i like having mesh in front which is why i was looking at the 750d because it has an airflow edition.Nice mesh front and i like the look of the LED fans in the front like that, as well, just would prefer a newer case. But not a lot of cases has the quarter inch bays which i use

Yeah it's a great case, but the focus on quietness reduces the airflow capacity. Just don't expect exceptional temps at really low fan speeds, but do expect a sturdy and quiet case. Tell you what, gamers nexus has a pretty comprehensible outlook on cases, the pro 900 is on their list for best of 2017

well because it keeps things quiet i can have my fans at a higher RPM than usual to keep things cool, so it isn't the best for airflow, but it isn't bad either then?

If you're after a quiet case, it's perfect, but if you're after a good airflow case, there's other options. Seeing as you are planning to use the ml140 fans anyway though, this might actually be decent because the included fans are about half the airflow and much much quieter at max than the ml140's

Ouch, just saw you have a r9 390, if you are set on the pro 900, make sure you also get fans for the bottom on that case. Good call @SpaceGhostC2C, didn't think to check his build. Going from that case to the pro 900 is almost opposite end of spectrum.

i am really just looking for a newer case really, just don't want my case to starve for airflow, so i just want a case that at least has a decent amount of it, doesn't need a full mesh front or anything, and currently i have a fan on the side right next to the graphics card, that is why i didn't look at any of the HAF full towers or the 750d too much since it is a bit older, something from 2015-2017 or so is what i am mainly searching for

The issue is that new cases no longer have side fan mounting options, and even full mesh front cases don't do as good for gpu's like your case does. Bottom airflow would be the only saving grace to keep your gpu from running high temps or running it's fans at max (I know the XFX cooler can get pretty loud and whiny).

Oh, i don't mind having to put a fan on the bottom, if the dark base 900 has a place for that then that could work, if not then i may need to get something older, or maybe there is another option that has a place for a fan near my GPU on the bottom or side or whatever. if it something older i have to get it will probably have to be the 932 advanced or the 750d, one of those two.

i would also like to point out, i do have enough fans for two in the front, one on the side/bottom of the case, and then i have 1 on top and in the rear as exhaust.

Yeah it has room for two fans on bottom in front of PSU. I'd say the bottom two spots out of the three front locations, one on bottom closest to PSU, one rear exhaust, and one top exhaust at the rear would be a good starting point in that case. You could also make use of the included fans and run them on the top of the case and use your (I assume 5) ML fans for all other areas, they're good fans and at least fluid-dynamic instead of standard long sleeve bearings.

The bottom fan would be intake right? so it seems like the dark base pro 900 is probably the case for me then.
