Yup bottom intake to provide fresh air for the GPU so it doesn't just circulate hot air, and help push it upwards and out the top rear corner

You could probably pull it out if it bothered you that much. Looks like it's held on either with clips or screws

That is basically how i have my case right now, just with side intake, but after watching gamer nexus's video about the 900 i thought in the non pro version you could have the side with two fan mounts on there, as wwell, could be wrong but either way that looks like a decent way of having my case set up so it doesn't get starved for air

also thought of something, the pro 900 i can also switch things around so the graphics card is near the top and i can install fans that way to keep the card cool

Or get a case with out any ODD and get a usb bluray drive they are like 100 bucks now.

Thats a problem with cases now,Not many have ODD drives anymore they are slowly dying off.If you don't mind a big cube case the core x5 is not bad http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Cube_Case_/Core/C_00003042/Core_X5_Tempered_Glass_Edition/design.htm

Or it has a huge big brother the core x9.Both cases have 3 ODD bays to them.

It doesn't look like a bad case, it is just i don't really like the IO covers there, because i constantly use my flash drive for music
