Ive had primochill vue sterling silver running in my loop for about 4-5 weeks now and ive notice build up on the gpu block fins and some weird blue crust in the inside of my cpu block. Ive seen online the the vue fluid can eat away nickle plating and damage acrylic. Prior to filling the loop with the vue fluid i ran primochills system reboot and left it running for 24 hours to clean all the parts from my prior fluid. I had thermaltake c1000 white and i know it said to be careful when filling up the loop after that kind of fluid but i took all the blocks apart to clean them and dried them out thoroughly. Should I leave the fluid in or change it out?

It's just dried up unicorn powder. In all seriousness, that is minimal change for the Vue and as long as it doesn't bother you, you can continue as is. Vue doesn't react well to stagnant air pockets and its just that in these regions there is so little flow so its precipitated out.

You can see here the extent that the Vue built up and damaged my blocks. It looks like how mine did at some point. I ran it for 2.5 months before I realized how bad it had gotten.  My suggestion would be to drain and deep clean all components.

That's not so bad just a little build up between the block and water channels, looks pretty good compared to some problems that have been out there.

Bought Sky Blue Vue but thank god I did not use it and came across the warning incompatible warning sign. Is there something similar to VUE that is compatible with the Enermax Pump/Res?

What other pre mix coolant would you guys recommend?

Not anything I would openly recommend or suggest to use, ideally change the pump res even for a normal loop as it has a mixed metal pump res with an aluminum cap. EKWB's Cryofuel would be the only thing I would suggest to use.

Change it immediatly.

Vue is an incredibly dodgy coolant. If you get lucky after jumping through every single one of Primochills hoops, you may end up with a cooling system running Vue with zero issues.

However..

if ur not lucky, it doesnt mater how little or how much build up u notice, if its there. STOP, clean out ur system and pray that it hasnt got bad enough that u cant clean it all out.

People have found that if Vue starts breaking down in ur loop, no amount of realistic cleaning will get ur loop clean again. You can clean out ur blocks, replace ur tubing, and scrub out ur pump, but ur rads..well like i said, it depends, luck of the draw, you may find that ur rads will seemingly never be cleaned out properly. Thats not to say its impossible to clean out, its just going to be incredibly difficult.

Vue had so much hype, but its such a bad coolant, if u want that effect, get Mayhems Aurora , its tried and tested and its limits and issues are well known. Vue can be good, but when its not its a nightmare.

Check out this forum thread for Vue feedback ..tis not pritty when it goes wrong.
