AMD FreeSync 2 on Xbox !

Microsoft announced that it will be adding FreeSync 2 support to the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. Original article from PCGAMER :

Does anyone think this matters when there is no actual TV in the market with freesync support ? Even if they eventually make their way to TV's people aren't gonna rush out and buy them ..
