H105 Mounting Position

Good Evening Linustechtips.

So my issue here is : I have corsair h105 CPU AIO cooler, which is mounted in my Thermaltake v51 case on top ( see the picture below) as general case has two front case fans which do send the air inside, so i was thinking mount h105 on front would it make the difference? because i was thinking added 3 fans on top of the case where h105 is located 

And aswell should the h105 fans send in or out the air?

Why change what you have going on? that looks like the tubes are just the right length to be mounted where they are, and 2 intakes + 2 exhaust fans will give you slightly positive air pressure since the rad restricts the air flow a bit (good thing). 

moving the cooler won't help your CPU temps, no. and it might raise GPU temps 1 or 2 degrees since it'd be giving warmer air to the GPU to use to cool itself. not a huge deal, but worth noting.

basically, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

front = fresh air intake from outside the case

top = hot air intake from every single component inside the case

 

as for the fans, always: front = intake // top = exhaust

Well, not always. Top can also be intake if you are filtered, and have exhaust as say, your rear fan and a PSU. If I have a front rad, I'd do a front intake, rear exhaust, and PSU alone. If I need more rads, though, I'd make the top intake as well and flip the PSU. Rather maintain the positive pressure, personally. Keeps me nice and dust-resistant. And I've never really had temp issues, even in systems with 2 GPUs + 1 CPU, and in the "worst case" 2 240mm rads + a 200mm fan as intake, and a 140mm as the only exhaust. Temps were actually great in that case.

not saying it wouldn't work but it goes somewhat against physics as the hot air is less dense than the cold air and rises, so a top intake just pushes the hot air to the bottom

my case has 2 intakes (280 rad) and a single rear exhaust and temps are good

Exactly. But in the case that you have more than 3 fans, it gets more complex. Hence why I provided some more detail after your unilateral "always"
