FX 8320 AT 1700MHZ

Hello guys since last night im getting this trouble i cant save my information on the bios because idk it just doesnt save i even tried resetting the cmos, take out the cmos battery, resetting bios to default but nothing happens and because of that i think that there's a feature activated on my bios that lock my cpu to be at 1,68ghz which stock base is 3,5ghz.

My motherboard is a MSI 970 Gaming.

Thanks in advance

This.

Try replacing the CMOS battery with a new one.

Already tried a battery from an old motherboard, might be dead that one also?

Possibly. Its unlikely, but check you aren't shorting the Clear CMOS jumper too.

Can you update or roll back the BIOS?
