ASUS P6T Windows 10 issue

Hello Everyone,

For the longest time i did not have an issue with my pc. Until recently with the latest windows 10 update to 1709

I also noticed that it reset my device manager / hardware auto upgrade which i unchecked a long time ago which i didn't notice until now so I am unsure if it is a driver issue or not.

my pc now will randomly freeze when in use and will required a hard reboot. if i login then lock the pc it is fine, i can use my SMB setup and streaming / fileshare.

 

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I7 970 stock speed with h100 water cooling.

I have had problems like this with older hardware, I suggest using windows 7 to be honest. Ive had a better time and less problems with it.
