unassigned devices in Unraid

I have unraid 6.4 with the most recent version of unassigned devices. I added a WD 1tb purple drive that I want to have shared but not part of the array. I installed the drive and it does display in the unassigned devices menu and is formatted to ntfs and i have enable auto-mount and share but I can still not see the share when I navigate to the tower on another computer. Is there something that I missed? I watch a video after messing with it for a while and they were able to do the exact same thing and have the drive show up on the network. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Why NTFS? Linux and Unix don't particularly like proprietary filesystems like that. Have you tried EXT?

I tried a few different ones and kept having the same problem
