I was wondering if this was a good rig for $735

HD:  3TB 7200 RPM HD

It's a pretty good rig, but as you can see from my signature, i just have a 250 gb ssd. I think if you really need the space you should just get a 500gb samsung 850 evo ssd

 

or if you dont remove the ssd or hdd

Looks good, though the Asus boards let you turbo lock the chip; much better. I don't know if the MSI boards allow for something similar.

Worth around $200 but costs around $350.

Build looks pretty decent, I'd probably get a case for it though.
If the 3TB drive you're looking at is the Seagate Barracuda, don't get it. Their 3TB drives have fairly high failure rates. Go with a 2TB or 4TB drive instead. (It's been a while since I looked at the stats for it, so that might have changed, but I wouldn't risk it)

My only thought is if you plan to overclock, use a non-stock cooler, you can get a much better cooler for 40-60 bucks
