Gaming PC

Hello, My Name is Troy.

I am wanting to build a relatively cheap Gaming PC. The price range I am looking for is around $1200 - $1600 AUD(Australian Dollar). I have got a build plan on pcpartpickers.com, and was wondering if there was anything I could do to improve or cheapen the build while still being just as good. I was also wondering how expandable the build is, so if in the future i want to expand anything, I can. I was also wondering  how well it would do playing modern games. Here are the details and links:

since hes getting a gpu anyways, the APU does really fit. the i5 would be better in this case.

i personally disagree with the baraccuda drive, but i just think seagate is trash.

other than that, looks good!

Now really isn't a great time to be building... GPU prices aren't expected to improve until much later this year. If you get a 2400G now, AMD will lend you a free CPU to upgrade your bios so it works, and then just use the APU until september-ish when things might start to get better, and Ampere is available.

Also, if you get a 2400G no aftermarket cpu cooler is required.

The 850-EVO isn't really competitive anymore, the MX500 from crucial is a lot cheaper and faster.

Unless you work a lot of video files, etc you shouldn't need a 2TB drive. 1TB will be fine for a gaming computer.

You could go for a bit higher quality case if you forgo a gpu for now.

Faster memory would help.

HEADS UP, THIS ACCOUNT IS INACTIVE NOW

I'm keeping everything else the way it was for anyone who might check out my answers in future, but I won't be using LTT.

Thank you for your quick replies!

So would this build be a better PC? How would this go compared to the other one? I have never OC before, so how would that work?

I am sorry for the newbie questions, I have never built a PC before.
