Router that shows all data usage ?

There is no such thing as a DSL router or Cable router. Routers will work with all services. Now some routers have modems built in, that is when you need to watch out. So what you need is a DSL modem or a DSL Gateway (modem/Router). Oh and you do need to figure how what kind of DSL service you have so that the modem is compatible.

I have a Synology RT2600AC router ($199 USD). Yeah its an expensive boy. I can view how much data each device is using, also what percentage a service is using. I just recently figured out I can name each device on my network as well. So I can say this is Mom's Amazon stick, or Dads Roku Stick, so on and so forth.

Is there a router that shows the amount of monthly data being used throughout the house (wifi devices too) ?

Thanks

You don't need hardware to do that, you can use something like Glasswire to monitor network traffic and usage.

well my router is going out so i was needing to purchase one anyway. Glasswire from what i understand needs to be installed on each device and its $69 form monitoring of 10 devices which i would need that.  I need to monitor hdtv's roku's ps4's ,etc

If i need a router anyway id rather use just it to monitor all bandwidth but im not sure if there is one that will log all usage data.

I dont need to know how much each device is using individually but all as a whole .

Do you want just the amount of data or do you want more granular like "X% went to Netflix" stuff?

Do you need an ISP specific/compatible router or do you have that already and it can be any router?

Yes i only need the amount of data no how much % on each device or service just one GB or in my case TB number.

And no i dont need a ISP specific/compatible router..It can be any router as long as its DSL not cable.

They have a cheaper option, I got the best option, I think the cheaper option is closer to the $100 range. Its just a slower version of AC, I would suspect the software to be the same.
