Sorry I was sure where to stick this, why does my avast say i have broken registry files, and how do i overcome this?

 

Also how do i completely wipe windows off of my ssd?

What services do i not need on windows 10?

To wipe Windows completely off your SSD, the easiest method for me is to just boot from a Windows installation media, choose Custom Installation and just delete the partitions from there. 

 

Avast does that to get you to buy their paid software. It's common for free anti-virus software to give you prompts that they can speed up your PC by fixing registry, clearing unwanted files ,etc. All of which require you to buy into their paid service.

Registry of what exactly, windows or of avast itself? Is this just just their ad for a registry cleaner?
What does it say you need to do? Is it just saying "some registry are broken, please fix them" or something unhelpful like that or is it more like "you have X broken registry, click here to fix them" ?

Yeah when i run a smart scan on the software, after its done it says "broken registery items - 196"
