Only on specfic iris pro parts. All the other ones are shared with system ram.

It uses system ram, it can use as much as it wants, normally upto a gig or two.

 

520m is better.

It should in theory default itself to use the 520m under gaming load. You can force it in the Nvidia Control Panel.
